Eze

Eze is an intriguing village that separates into two smaller villages, one at sea level known as Eze sur Mer, and the second part set in the ruins of a medieval fortress more than 400 metres above sea level, known simply as Eze Village. There is plenty to see in this small oasis including some rare vegetation and plants in the village's exotic garden. It is easy to get happily lost in the labyrinth of narrow paths that lead up, down and through the village, including the famous Nietsche path that connects Eze sur Mer and Eze Village. There are plenty of shops to visit too and the renowned perfume brands, Galimard and Fragonard, both have outlets to browse and smell their local products.
